This chard makes a stunning leafy green with stems of orange and magenta . ‘Magenta Sunset’ has its name from the showy coloration that ranges from bright pink over crimson to deep burgundy contrasting the dark green leaves typically growing to a height of 30-60 cm. It is versatile that adds ornamental and culinary value to gardens and container growing. It can be harvested throughout the growing season and makes a delicious and nutritious addition to salads, soups, and stir-fries.
Our favourite way of eating it is as a side dish steamed with melted butter and a pinch of pepper and salt.

Most beautiful tones of silvery blush pink and cream colours, great for fresh and dried bouquets. What a delight having these plumes growing in the garden. Very elegant as a cut flower and it goes in almost any bouquet with their silvery cream, warm pink and peachy palette against dark green foliage.
Celosia keeps its colours when dried. This variety lives up to its name when hung and dry, the colours fade ever so slightly and get even more of a vintage feel to them.

A stunning and unique variety producing mainly double flowers of creamy rose and cranberry. This is a new variety for us and we really love it. It’s a real show stopper. It flowers over a very long season, especially if picked or dead-headed. California poppies are drought tolerant so very low maintenance.
If using as a cut flower it acts as both filler and thriller due to its delicate lacy foliage.

Daikon Radish – Minowase (Organic)
£2.20 Add to basketDaikon Radish – Minowase (Organic)
A traditional variety of Daikon radish producing long bright white roots which are crunchy and delicious. This is a great variety of Daikon radish for sowing after July. Its roots can grow huge – up to 3 inches in diameter! It is not too hot and stays very sweet and crunchy. It’s best left in the ground until needed. We have some disagreement on the best way to eat Minowase; Fred likes to eat it raw and Ronja prefers to eat it cooked. Try both and see what works best for you!
