    A very pretty and vigourous oakleaf lettuce with dark red splashes all over pale green leaves. Excellent taste and texture, compact head. This lettuce was bred by Wild Garden Seed in Oregon, USA. It is an open-pollinated variety that was introduced in 2005. It is very versatile, can be picked as baby green, baby head, at full maturity or one leaf at the time. The texture is crispy and smooth, the taste delicate and sweet.

    An early spring butterhead lettuce, with a mild flavour and smooth texture. One of the Ronja’s favourite salads from the ones that we grew this year. It originates in Slovenia which used to be Yugoslavia and grows loose heads with colourful outer leaves blending a crimson or burgundy colour with green and gold. Best sown early as is not exceptionally slow bolting. A beautiful addition to your salad bowl! Matures in 55-58 days.
    Available as ‘certified organic’ or ecologically produced.
