A beautiful and very productive variety of two tone pink and white stems.
This variety was given to us by our friends at Trill Farm Garden, who said it was the best chard they had ever grown (and they have grown a lot of chard). Very strong and healthy plants with great consistency. A real winner for the veg patch or market garden.

Chard – Perpetual spinach/ Erbette (Organic)
£2.20 Add to basketChard – Perpetual spinach/ Erbette (Organic)
A traditional Italian variety with narrow leaves and a pale midrib. Perpetual spinach or beet leaf is actually a part of the chard family. It tastes similar to spinach but is slightly earthier in flavour.
Hardy, easy to grow and bolt-resistant in its first season it makes a good replacement for true spinach where growing conditions are difficult.
A very versatile cut-and-come-again leaf that can be used for salad mixes, as a leafy green in pies, pastry and pizza or just steamed or blanched on the side of your meal.

Broccoli – Early purple (Organic)
Price range: £2.09 through £4.00 Add to basket This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product pageBroccoli – Early purple (Organic)
A very popular and traditional variety of sprouting broccoli, producing an abundance of tasty spears from late March . We love Early Purple broccoli, it comes at a time of year when we are in serious need of some green vegetables that are not kale, chard or leeks! We can quite happily eat it with every meal during its harvest window. It is very versatile, being great seamed, stir fried, roasted, added to soups and stews, put in omelettes… the list goes on.
It is slow growing and takes around one year from sowing to harvest but it is well worth the wait with each plant producing a lot of food. Plants can grow up to 1m in height.

Leaf chicory best used as a delicious sautéing green. Catalogna Gigante di Chioggia – also known as dandelion greens – is an open leaf chicory type which is similar to wild chicory.
The leaves make some of the best sautéing greens around, sweet with a slight bitter edge. They can be blanched in salty water to remove some of the bitterness if desired. Drain and fry up with garlic and chilli for a truly delicious side dish.
More forgiving to grow than some other chicory/radicchio types.

A light-green kohlrabi that will remain tender and sweet to a huge size. If left to grow it can reach up to 8kg. It is resistant to bolting and splitting.
Fred has been growing Superschmelz kohlrabi for years. “It gets huge, it stores really well AND it stays tasty and crunchy!” is his verdict.
We think kohlrabi is best eaten raw in salads or straight from the garden. It is also nice pickled or added to stews and stir fries.
