A new variety bred and grown at Stormy Hall in North Yorkshire using the Biodynamic growing method. Purple flowering sugar pea with thick-walled edible pods of excellent flavour. Grows 160-180 cm tall. Sohara is preforming well in dry as well in wet years. Pods stay sweet and edible for a extended time on the plant. It also can be sown in a green house or tunnel from November for an early crop.

When to sow: Mar-May

Spacing: 30x3cm

Summary: Ensure a good tilth and firm seedbed. Direct sow outdoors from late March when soil has begun to warm in rows 3cm deep and 30cm apart. Sow earlier indoors in pots and plant to final spacing. Support tall varieties with wire or sticks.
