A quirky dwarf variety producing fluffy ultra-double blooms. This unique sunflower is named Teddy Bear due its very soft pompom like blooms with almost no smooth centre. The plants have a branching habit so will produce multiple flowering stems on each plant.

We love sowing it in between our crops and rejoicing in the lovely flowers and insects that it attracts.

Its long stem length compared to other calendulas we’ve grown make it particularly suitable as a cut flower.

The Hopi Black Sunflower is a heirloom variety stewarded by the Hopi people who used it’s dye in fabrics for basketry. Easy to grow and with a branching stems that can also be used for cutting, this variety is a wonderful addition to the dye and ornamental garden. Growing up to 3m in height with spectacular large flower heads, the seeds can be harvested to produce a beautifully rich dark purple dye.

Most beautiful tones of silvery blush pink and cream colours, great for fresh and dried bouquets. What a delight having these plumes growing in the garden. Very elegant as a cut flower and it goes in almost any bouquet with their silvery cream, warm pink and peachy palette against dark green foliage.
Celosia keeps its colours when dried. This variety lives up to its name when hung and dry, the colours fade ever so slightly and get even more of a vintage feel to them.

Also known as ‘Pot Marigold’. This is the classic calendula, producing abundant large orange blooms over a long season. We love calendula and would never go a season without it. It is really easy to grow and loved by humans and insects alike. There is something magical about finding bumblebees sleeping in calendula flowers early in the morning.
