£2.10 Add to basketLathyrus sativus – Azureus (Organic) ***NEW FOR 2024***
A sweet pea relative used as a filler in flower arrangements, with delicate green foliage and small blue flowers. Azureus produces an abundance of delicate and elegant green foliage with feathery tendrils. The flowers are small and odourless, and while the stems are too small to be cut as individual stems, the buds on the cut branches will continue to flower for a week or more if placed in a vase of water.
Very easy to grow and can survive drought conditions.

Coming in 2025
Dark red almost black velvety blooms on long stems, a favourite in the flower garden.
We were absolutely taken by this elegant flower with dark crimson to burgundy colours, some really going into black with contrasting creamy white stamen. This scabious makes an amazing cut flower and keeps impressing throughout the summer months. Flower heads make way for lovely seed heads with the shape of pin cushions.
Can be used as a dye flower producing over green and blue to purple dyes depending on mordant and modifiers.

Coming 2025 – hopefully…
Lovely flowers with shades of apricot, coral, blushed yellow, orange and pink makes a wonderful dry flower too.
This is an easy to grow and productive cut flower on long upright stems, bringing joy in the garden patch as blooming over long period of time. Statice is often grown for drying since the pretty papery flowers keep their colours well.
This mix has warm tones of rose, apricot, peach, creamy oranges and lemons. It’s been a delight growing these and adding them to our flower bouquets.
