Peas – Heraut (Organic)
Price range: £2.35 through £4.20 Add to basket This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product pagePeas – Heraut (Organic)
Very vigorous, tall-growing mangetout with violet flowers and ever-so-sweet pods. Heraut are delicious raw, when picked young and still flat, steamed or stir-fried, fantastic in salads and you can eat them ‘pod and all’. They produce an early crop of sugar snap peas on productive and hardy plants. If picked regularly, more growth is encouraged.
This variety is quick to be ready to harvest and has a great taste, too. So much so that we couldn’t resist snacking on it while growing it.

Large fruits, which remain green when ripe, with attractive yellow striping and excellent taste. In terms of appearance, this does what it says on the tin, but it does it very well. Fruits grow to around 8cm diameter and plants typically produce 6 to 8 fruits per truss. Quite fleshy, with very good taste and looks wonderful with other red and yellow tomatoes on a plate or at market.

Chilli – Lemon Drop (Organic)
£1.95 Add to basketChilli – Lemon Drop (Organic)
Crinkly yellow chilli with a hot lemony flavour with a wide range of culinary uses. One of our most popular chilli varieties with a bushy growth habit and lots of fruits ripening from green to yellow.
The variety is also called Aji Limon and originates from Peru where it’s used as a seasoning pepper. Rating 30,000-50,000 SHU (Scoville heat units) it is quite a spicy one ideal for making your own hot chilli sauce with an extra citrusy twist or add it to stir fries, tomato sauces or your scrambled eggs.
To get good germination temperatures of 28° – 30°C are recommended. Germination can be slow and take three weeks or more. As it is thought to be genetically slightly closer to its wild relatives, there is some apparent seed dormancy which can affect germination rates. We have included a higher number of seeds in the packets to ensure you get enough plants.

Cima di Rapa – San Marzano (Organic)
Price range: £2.10 through £3.00 Add to basket This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product pageCima di Rapa – San Marzano (Organic)
A really easy to grow broccoli alternative producing tender flowering shoots around 60 days from sowing. Cima Di Rapa (also known as broccoli raab), is actually botanically a type of turnip rather than a broccoli. As such it is very quick to grow and unfussy in terms of its water and nutrient requirements.
The flowering shoots are harvested like sprouting broccoli and if you take care not to remove the lower two leaves you can get a few cuts off them.
In Italy there are many different varieties of Cima Di Rapa, maturing at different times and with different culinary uses.
